1995-1999 Los Angeles Marathon Finisher

2012-2014 Austin Marathon Finisher

2011-2014 Tough Cookie Coach, All women's endurance sports team in Austin during my tenure I finished the Austin marathon, Austin Running club races series, 70.3 Ironman (relayed the bike and run), MS150 bike ride, Spa Girl triathlon, and local duathlons (run and bike).

In 2014,  I stopped running and coaching due to injuries.  I practiced Yoga from 2014-2015.  In 2016 I enrolled in the Get Fit program with the UT Fitness Institute; by spring break I was unable to walk without significant pain.  I was later diagnosed with stress fractures in both feet.

In the fall of 2016, Annicka asked if we could go to the Austin Stone.  Hesitantly, I agreed since she was so excited.  Moms from our homeschool summer soccer meetups invited me to join their weekly Missional Community.  I am so grateful I listed to Annicka.  After months at Austin Stone and praying for healing in April of 2017, with encouragement from my One Day Academy friends, I successfully completed a 6 week introduction to trail running program with Women on the Trails.

I was baptized on Memorial Day at the Austin Stone picnic.  I know that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and that all everything in my life past, present and future are only possible through Jesus.

I have three children Annicka (16), Aaliyah (14), Apollo (12).  I have been married to my loving and supportive husband Chuck for 17 years.  As a native Texan and Texas EX, Chuck knew he wanted to raise his family in Austin.  We have lived in Austin for 12 years.  I was born and raised in San Diego.  I have a bachelors in Economics and a masters degree in Social work from the University of Southern California.
